مرحوم صدر برای این کلام آخرشان، تعبیر دیگری می آورند که کلام حقی است:
از عبارت " الکر ستمائة رطل" (بدون لحاظ دلیل حجیت) می فهمیم که قطعاً کر از 600 رطل مکی بیشتر نیست، چه مراد از رطل، مکی یا عراقی باشد. حال اگر این دلیل بخواهد حجت نباشد، باید برای آن معارضی احراز شود. از عبارت " الکر الف و مائتان رطل" می فهمیم که قطعاً از 1200 رطل عراقی کمتر نیست، چه مراد از رطل، عراقی یا مکی باشد. پس دلالت این دلیل، مبیّن است، پس تعارض بین دو دلیل، احراز نمی شود .
همان طور که اگر دلیل عامی بگوید: اکرم کل عالم. و دلیل دیگری بگوید: لا تکرم زیداً. و ما بین دو زید تردید داریم که یکی جاهل و دیگری عالم است. پس شک در اصل مخصصیت داریم که چون تعارض احراز نمی شود، به عموم دلیل اول رجوع می کنیم. (اشکال نشود که در دوران بین تخصیص و تخصص، نپذیرفته‌اند که اصل تخصص است. آن حرف -را اگر کسی قائل شود که اکثراً قائل نشده اند- با کلام ما در اینجا منافات ندارد؛ چون اینکه گفته‌اند اصل تخصص نیست یعنی نمی‌توانیم بگوییم منظور از «لاتکرم زیداً» زید جاهل است بلکه این دلیل مجمل است و ممکن است زید عالم باشد و ممکن است زید جاهل باشد اما در مقام عمل باید زید عالم را اکرام کنیم؛ چون بر وجوب اکرام آن دلیل داریم و مخصص آن محرز نشده است و لذا برای رفع ید از عام حجت نداریم و این در مقام عمل است نه در مقام دلالت لفظی و رفع اجمال).
پس ما در دو صورت به هر دو دلیل عمل می کنیم: یا جمع عرفی(قرینیت) داشته باشند یا تعارض احراز نشود که نتیجه ی جمع عرفی می شود.
